What is the etymological origin of the word 'tago' or 'tinago'? Is it bisaya in origin or tagalog...?

the etymological origin of the word 'tago'

The words 'tago" in Bisaya and Tagalog both originate from Proto-Malayo-Polynesian, they are cognates of an ancient reconstructed form /taRuq/, according to the Austronesian Comparative Dictionary[1]

If "tago" originated by a recent borrowing from Bisaya or Tagalog, one could say it originated from one language or the other. But its origin is much more ancient, in the common ancestor language(s) that eventually split to give modern Bisaya and Tagalog.
