Question about tinu and handuraw usage
How do you use the word "tinu" when say for example I say:
Sure ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya.
Or Segurado ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya.
Can it be used as such:
Tinu ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya.
or is it:
Makatinu ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya?
How about handuraw?
Mga pananglitan sa paggamit sa handuraw ug tino
We use handuraw to mean to picture something in our minds or to imagine.
Example:
Handurawa nga nagpuyo ka sa usa ka dapit duol sa usa ka busay. (Imagine yourself in a place near a waterfall.)
Ayaw pagpunay og handuraw niya kay mabuang gyod ka. (Don't keep on thinking of him/her or else you will go crazy.)
In the other hand, tino means to ascertain or verify.
Example:
Sa dili pa ka mohimog desisyon, tinoa una kon tukma ba ang mga impormasyon nga gihatag kanimo. (Before making any decision, make it sure that the information given to you is accurate.)
