Unsang diperensya sa maga sugo? Nga na'ay iglanggikit "-a" o "-i"
eksample:
"HugasA ang mga plato" o
"HugasI ang mga plato"
maantimanug ko magsalamat kaayo!
-a is usually used when the
-a is usually used when the verb ends with a vowel letter
e.g.
SugoA siya sa pagpalit ug sabon. (Ask him/her to buy a soap.)
-i is usually used when the verb ends with a consonant letter
e.g.
HugasI ang mga plato. (Wash the plates.)
There are exceptions to these like
e.g.
LantawA palihug ang akong niluto kung naluto na ba. (Please check the food I am cooking if it is already cooked.)
HawanI palihug ang lamesa (Please clear the table.)
