"inig" meaning

Dictionary says it is "ini"="this'. But my asawa says it is "when".

inig = when

Your 'asawa' is correct. Inig is used to mean when in the sense of 'inig abot sa panahon' - 'when the time comes'. It is not used to mean when in the sense of 'when are we going?' where you would use 'Kanus-a'.

ini - is used for 'this' although most often you will hear 'niini' or 'kini'
