Unsang diperensya sa maga sugo? Nga na'ay iglanggikit "-a" o "-i"

eksample:

"HugasA ang mga plato" o

"HugasI ang mga plato"

maantimanug ko magsalamat kaayo!

I am very new to this language.... I'm trying to understand the difference in some of the dialects that would be used in Northern Mindanao/Iligan region. So I know there is Tagalog, then Bisayan is a dialect? How does Cebuano fit in to this?

What is a person living in the Northern Mindanao area likely to speak?

With help of this site and Google translate, trying to understand conversations is the first step to getting to know the language.

What I experienced so far is that for a lot of words there are totaly different meanings, usualy asking friends and even them sometimes doubt, then i'm even more schocked how difficult this is  hehe

This one, for example... gives different results

i try my best bisaya, someone ask me if im in the city, i reply "Cge Cge' to reply affirmative, then they reply "Aw hahah ali balai"   Ali can have different meanings, so I'm a bit confused... but thinkign it's an invite , right?

How do you use the word "tinu" when say for example I say:

Sure ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya.
Or Segurado ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya.

Can it be used as such:

Tinu ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya.

or is it:

Makatinu ko nga kahibaw pud ka mobisaya?

Like almost all of you im studying Cebuano. Does anybody of you know a good app to learn/study? I dont need translation as there are many apps for translation. I'm more looking for study-app.
